Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning helps to “refinish” the skin's top layers through a method of controlled scraping. The treatment gives the skin a smoother appearance, removing vellus hair and dead skin cells. Dermaplaning can be performed on small areas of skin or on the entire face. They can be used alone or performed before a facial or a chemical peel.

PROCEDURE

Dermaplaning is the act of shaving your face with a single blade that resembles a scalpel to help remove dead skin cells and peach fuzz. The treatment may help soften fine lines and wrinkles and ease hyperpigmentation revealing a more even skin tone.

DOWNTIME

Your skin may be pink or feel “sunburned” after dermaplaning. Do not to use retinoid products for 2 days after the treatment. Sunscreen with a high SPF should be wore after the treatment and used regularly to protect skin from sun damage.
