Fillers

HA (Hyaluronic Acid) fillers are gel-like injectables used to smooth wrinkles, restore lost facial volume and enhance contours. Hyaluronic acid attracts and binds water molecules, plumping the skin from within, they provide immediate, natural-looking results that typically last 6 to 24 months before being safely absorbed.

PROCEDURE

Our specially trained Nurse Injectors, Keri and Jo, will evaluate your facial appearance and skin tone and examine the areas of your face to be augmented. Strategic points on your face may be marked as the appropriate injection sites for the filler. The injection sites will be cleansed with an antibacterial agent. While not painless, the injections are usually very easily tolerated. Some fillers have an anesthetic in them to reduce pain at the injection site, other more dense fillers may require anesthetic ointment to numb the skin before treatment.

DOWNTIME

Recovery time varies for each patient and for each type of filler injected. You can resume most activities right away, but it is generally recommended that you avoid intense physical activity for the first 24-48 hours to minimize swelling and bruising.
